The heritage rough rider is an option. No where NEAR the gun that the Ruger is, but it's cheaper, and it works.

I would imaging it would be!
A Taurus in .22 should be just fine.again, not the same quality gun as the Ruger, but it works.

My grandfather has a Colt officer's model in .22 Long Rifle that was built on a .38 frame. They turn up from time to time at gun and pawn shops, and a re usually very acurate revolvers. DA or SA, and built on a fairly rugged frame, they are a joy to shoot. One gun shop in my area has 2 of them for $150 each. If you don't mind buying used, there are some good options out there.

I agree- I've had a couple of 22's by Taurus - A 94 & Tracker i think?
Anyways except for a horrible DA pull i liked them
Kind of overpriced it seems to me tho?

Ah, well, for me its kinda easier to get, since Taurus is brazilian, and they turn up WAY more often than a Colt or S&W. Im gonna check some out, my dad and me, we met a guy on the range the other day, really nice, he let me finish off the 50 rounds he had left heheh. Anyway, he has a lot of contacts and we're gonna see if he has anything for sale or knows somebody who does.
I thank everyone of you guys, and will look into the Heritage and Ruger options.
Cheers and happy shooting!

Not mine unfortunately...about $700 if you can find one. S&W makes several really nice 22 LR revolvers, check 'em out.
