Default frame types

What are the different frame types for revolvers? I have heard of J frames and all kinds of different ones, whats the difference?

Default Frame types

Smith & Wesson uses letters for the frame types.
J- small usually 5 shot
K- Medium 6 shot M-10, 19, 66 etc.
L- Medium/large 6 & 7 shot mostly .357 mags M-686 etc
M- Old turn of the century ladysmiths
N- Large .357, .41, .44 M-28, 29 etc
X- really stupid big .500 S&W, .460 S&W
