.38 special is my all-time favorite revolver ammo, it can be loaded in a variety of ways and still be quite accurate. For grins, a big bore is hard to beat, though, like .44 mag & .45 Colt.
.45 acp is my favorite pistol ammo.

Default Favorite revolvers

I would hardly do without my 22 LR Single Six. But If I could only have one it would be a 32 H&R Mag.

Hey Nozzle rag. Nice to see I'm not alone in my love of the .41.

Default Hhmmmmm.....

This is tough, as I enjoy so many. I'd have to say the .357. A close second being the .45LC.

45 ACP, then 357. My 5" 625 with full moon clips is an absolute hoot.

.357 Hands down. Just saw the S&W M&P 340(hammerless), gives me a hardon.

A .357 magnum with qualilty factory ammo should fill just about any need, unless of course you want to shoot Alaskan bears.

For practice / plinking you can load it with .38 special ammo, and there is a wide selection of bullet designs and loadings in both .38 & .357.

I own two. A S&W model 19 (no dash) that I carried as a duty gun for many years, and a Taurus model 617, 2", 7-shooter, that I use as a carry gun when in the mood to carry a revolver.

Default old school round

The 357 magnum in a S&W model 19-3 has never let me down.

But I am adulterous when it come to revolvers .32, .38/357, 41, 44spec/mag, and 45LC. I have a love affair with all of them!
