Fair price for pre-lock S&W model 60?
It's an older "pinned" model. It's in very nice condition. The stock grips are mint! Looks like is has not been shot that much too. For sale at my LGS so I have to factor in the profit part. I'm thinking $350 cash out the door. Anybody else??

Around here that would be in the $500 range the way you describe it. Grossly overpriced, but they get what the market supports.

Thanks Doc. I really think I can get it for a flat $350. Hey, how is the gun climate down there? Moving from CT to the Jupiter FL area next year. Thinking the model 60 would be a good CCW down there, stainless and all.

Concealed is easy to get, and you may have full reciprocity from CT. You'll have to check that. We seem to be less restrictive on handguns here, but as of right now there is severely limited open carry. Other than that I don't think you'll find too much is different.
Here is the link for our statutes. Check them out and compare.

Clutch that beauty in your hot little hand and run like a frickin' thief. It would go for well over $400 here in Louisville these days. And it's hard to go far wrong on an older J-frame unless it's just been abused all to hell. But I'm sure you know that or you wouldn't have such a bad case of lust...
