Hey ya'll so just yesterday i was at the swap meet and my eye caught the attention of a 1960's Butler short .22 cal pistol... So i bought it...

The pistol has some wear and tear on it and i need to know the best way to clean and tighten the gun...

PROBLEMS:

1. Barrel is a bit loose.
2. Barrel is kinda sticky when opening to reload.
3. Barrel needs cleaning inside and out!
4. Grip is a bit loose
5. What are the best rounds to use for this weapon?

IF ANYONE COULD GIVE ME ANSWERS TO ANY QUESTION THAT WOULD BE GREATT!

What I recall of these, they were meant to be looked at more than shot. You may have a gun that will not BE tightened up (stretching of frame). If a smith OKs it to be shot with anything, I would stick with low energy ammo. CB caps come to mind.
