Okay! It's a Model 60 no dash according to the catalog, the R prefix was assigned in 1969. The best I can determine is that it was produced between 1969 and before 1972.

Here is a picture if the chamber side of the cylinder I dont think they are recessed.

Nope, not recessed. The chamber throats would be chamfered if it was.
