Indeed +1 sorry OP . I have shot a colt .357 yes it is a great revolver smooth action trigger is a bit heavy but then again its a revolver . Although that does bring up another Dan wesson positive the trigger on my 15-2 feels like it had a trigger job as it is a dream but it is a stock trigger.

I shot one ... I mean it was a good gun but I dont think it was quite the dan wesson ... my trigger is better you can even adjust the trigger pull so double is as short as possible and single actions BLOWS the python out the water

i cleaned up and oiled my dad's Dan Wesson the other day for him. he hadn't even had it out of the safe in 15 years! it's the Model 15-2, with the 8" barrel, 357 Magnum, made in Monson circa 1980 or 1981. he suppose to pick up some ammo this weekend and we are going to try it out. i probably, personally wouldn't go out and buy one, but if one in the right price range presented itself to me, i might.

Mines real nice a .357 magnum silver n light colored handles powerful n loud jeez that dang opposum was lucky i never did paper sight in the revolver my ears hurt after the six shots on that campin trip haha but its a real nice revolver the only one ill use till its done or im done im ready to scope her out and engrave the barrel then reload some hunting bullets im usin 110 jhp winchesters now and old western .38 specials wish i new the value and rareness or not rareness cause i let her get dirty i had it strap to a cargo rack in the holster on a atv while mudding so the handles dirty mmmhmm for $275 its a dandy and handles ny load...

cool gun. palmer guns wernt made quite as well as the monson guns but i still wouldnt kick it outta bed hehe good score
