Dan Wesson is back
CZ-USA, which owns Dan Wesson is getting back in the revolver business. The DW's are fantastic revolvers and it's good to see they are returning...

My only reservation would be they may not meet the same quality as weapons in the past. A problem you often see when an item is brought back into the market.

Unfortunately, it's rumoured to be in the $1200.00 range.

Sheeeit, they cant even have a real picture of it. Thats only a CAD pic.
I wouldnt necessarily say the old models were of the best quality......

The guns made in Monson were the equal of anything made by S&W or Colt (I've owned 4 of them). As the company started having money problems and moved to Palmer, quality became spotty. With the backing of CZ, I'd expect the new revolvers to be every bit as good as the DW 1911s...

I have an original model in .41 Mag with a 4 inch barrel--great shooting revolver and very well made. I hope the CZ versions follow suit.

I'm perfectly happy with mine...
As NGIB stated, I would expect these new revolvers to be excellent quality guns. They don't have a reputation of shabby work in their 1911's & can't imagine they would cut any corners with the new revolvers either.
I can't say I've never had a problem. As with any gun manufacturer, eventually you're gonna get one that develops a problem. I did have an odd ejector star issue with one of my 37 year old Porkchops once, but that didn't sideline me for long & it runs fine today...
