Hey guys need some help, a friend of mine has a Colt SAA and I am trying to get an aproximate age and value for the firearm. I searched the net for a serial number decipher but they didn't list the serial number this one has, so now I'm wonder if its a knock off. It looks legit enough as in there's nothing but Colt markings. Can anyone give me a hand getting this one. Serial number is SA61461. Pics can happen if needed. Thanks Guys

Through 1978, the letters SA were AFTER the number. In 1979, it started with SA01001, so you have sometime after 1979. Consider a phone call or email to Colt.
