Default Have to pass on the Python

Thank you all for the great feedback on the Python.
Unfortunately I went to the gun show today and shot my wad on a 20" free floated complete upper receiver for my M4. Been wanting to get into varmint hunting for awhile now and happend into a deal i could not refuse.

I have a 4 inch Python and it is a fine shooter and is used at the range frequently with full magnum rounds and has not broke yet. It was made in the late 50's and I have had it since 1970. Smoothe as silk to this day.

$695 is a good price. You should have bought it.

Default Colt Python

I recently bought a 6" colt Python for 400 dollars, It is approx. 95%. The only draw back is the grips. I dont like them. I am looking into a pair of Elephant Ivory grips, a guy close to us buys old elepehant heads from estate sales and makes grips out of them. They run about 450-500 dollar a pair. I know I got a great deal, the seller was trying to sell them to another friend that would only offer 350 dollars so he offered it to me for 400. I am a retired cop and have checked it and know its not stolen and I know the guy that sold it and he says he has had it for a long time.
