Colt King Cobra...value?

A Colt King Cobra came into my LGS on consignment today while I was there. The year of manufacture is approximately 1990, it's a 6" SS model, and literally brand new/never fired.

The customer listed it for $900. I know this is a desireable (but not quite a Python) pistol. So I guess I'm asking what this gun is worth? I make a phone call and they'll set it aside for me. I'm interested, on the fence, and admittedly a little ignorant here.

Great, mediocre, or no-so-great deal?

Good price.

This makes me sick! I sold my 6in King Cobra in about 1999 (I think). For $400.00 right about what I had paid new a couple years before.

Sold it because I was low on $$$ and wanted a nice carry gun. The Cobra hadn't seen much use because of its size.

Found out a few months later they were stopping production! Live and learn I guess.

Good solid price. Has box and papers? $800 would be an awesome price.
