Hi Guys, I have a Colt New Service deac (uk) which still has the action working, as it is a really old spec deac.
When pulling on double action or cocking on S/A there is a real nasty resistance about halfway through. Sometimes it is enough to prevent the action cocking completely.
Any ideas for a fix. The hand has been filed so it does not rotate the cylinder and the cylinder mount (sorry dont know the name) has been secured in place so wont swing out.
Many thanks
Dave

if the cylinder cant turn by the hand it may be jaming from the cylinder lock.
the arm on the cylinder is the CRANE.or the hand my be flopping and jaming on the ratchet that turns the cylinder.why bother operating it if its disabled.
