Default charter warranty?

i recently returned a charter revolver back because the frame cracked under the forcing cone and the cylinder star broke and stuck in my fore head. i'm ok the dr. said i may have a slight concussion, i was wondering will they repair or replace my gun?, this is the first time i've ever had to send a gun in. also i was using blazer 158 grain alluminum ammo. thanks

I have no idea how their customer service is, but the right thing to do is file 13 that revolver and send you a new one.

Just curious:

What did the fired casing look like

Any signs of round fired out of time

How many rounds fired through this pistol

The frame cracked and the "cylinder star" blew off(into pieces I assume) and stuck in your head

the casing looked good except the corner that tore off with the star. just a small part of the star stuck in my forehead not the whole star thank goodness. the gun shop called me today said they would make good on the gun, said if charter fixes it or replaces they would let me trade it in for another if i wanted. i can get a ruger sp101 for 150.00 more and my charter.

That's excellent news and definitely great service. I hope you have better luck with this one.

However, if you can afford to trade up, you may want to seriously consider a new Ruger SP101. I know it's a bit heavier, but it's a much better quality revolver.
