I don't own one but it is on the list of pistols I want to have. Many don't like Charter for varried reasons but I've shot an old bull and truly liked the size, fit and power of the pistol. A 44 Bull dog is a nice carry pistol and at some point in time I'm buying one, might not replace my carry pistol but it is a nice option.

I've had this gun for a long time and put thousands of rounds down the pipe. I use 180gr fp bullets and 5.3gr of Trail Boss for my practice load. This kicks all I want for 100-200 round of practice. I carry Hornady 180gr HP for self defense.
The only problem is the cylinders are oversized for caliber and rounds rattle around, and lite loads do not get a good seal, ergo a lot of dirty black soot on your hands and the gun. Great round for up close and personal work.
