Charter 2000 Undercover Replacement barrel.
 

I need to purchase a 2" stainless Charter 2000 (Charter Arms) Undercover replacement barrel (Serial #33590). The factory will not sell to homegunsmiths. Does anyone have an alternate source?

Further info: I pulled the old barrel with a modified bearing puller with the frame supported in a vise jig I made. Of course the cylinder was removed during this. I heated the frame at the barrel to about 300 DEG. F.( I do wonder what class of fit the barrel should have with the frame when done at the factory.)

Sorry guys I guess I forgot to list the caliber. It is a .38 Special.

It may be a parts gun now. Did you have a problem with the old barrel?

Send it back to the factory and they will sell you a replacement barrel they install. :D
