The 357 mag Hornady Lever Revolution loads are a great load for personal self defense, its was my father uses in his 686-1 classic. The ballistics for the Hornady load were what won me over and with the accuracy the gun gives its the perfect combo for him and me. I'm curious, how long is the barrel on your 686?
