Default Buying advice on Dan Wesson .357

I have a chance to pick up a Dan Wesson .357 with 4 barrels gently used for 800. I love the gun, but is this a fair price? Saw one similar on GB for 1200+ but the prices on there are sometimes hit or miss.

Dan Wesson name is now owned by CZ USA I believe so older models will be worth more than the newer ones. What year was the gun made?

IMHO, that's a very good price. Just the guns by themselves go for $450 on up. $800 for the set seems quite reasonable. I have an early 80s 15-2 pistol pack in good shape. IMHO, it's worth well over $800.
Oh, FWIW, the Monson built guns are considered more desirable.

Note: I'm no expert, just opinionated.

I haven't ha a chance to see it up close and personal. My friends father is selling it and I'm sure he has had it for a while. I know for a fact he rarely goes shooting so most of his guns are almost in we condition.

A nice 15-2 can be bought for 400bucks + or - 50 dollars. Barrels and shrouds are worth 150 bucks. If you buy it and pick 2 barrels worth keeping you could allways sell the other two I like the 4" for defence guneral use and 8" for hunting.
