Don't have it any more. Had a S&W model 29. Too expensive to feed, and the one I had, sported a 8 and 3/8" barrel, which wasn't exactly handy for anything but range time. I'd own another with a barrel from 4 to 6 inches, If I found a deal.

That which does not kill you makes you stronger...except submarines, they'll just plain kill you.

Over the years I've had just about every brand in 44 Magnum. Colt, S&W, Ruger, Desert Eagle, Dan Wesson, Taurus.
The only one I have left is the Taurus Raging Bull. It's the best shooting 44 that I've ever owned. I do miss the Desert Eagle, and my Dan Wesson convertible kit that I sold for stupid money years ago.

Ruger Super Redhawk & Marlin 1894.

I've had several S&W's but I learned they're for occasional magnum loads - most had to be repaired after a few hundred. The Ruger NEVER loosened up.

BTW, I had the same experience with the S&W 500 - cylinder stopped locking up after 200 rounds. Yeah, S&W repaired it under warranty, but I prefer guns that withstand firing the cartridge stamped on the barrel.

Only one here. Ruger 44 Carbine. Don't have one in a pistol, and honestly don't think I ever will, unless we are counting cap and ball as well.
Guns don't kill people. Blood loss and organ failure do.
