Blued Ruger Redhawk?
Just wondering if Ruger made Blued Redhawks? I want a Redhawk in .44 Mag to go with my .44 Mag Ruger Carbine, but everyone I see is stainless or nickled (Not sure what it is), I just dont like the look of "shinny" guns, my Carbine is blued, and I want it to "match"...

They did make blued Redhawks, but they were removed from the product list. The model numbers were RH-44 (7.5") and RH-445 (5.5"). You can still find them on the used market if you keep your eyes open.

Here is one on the Gunbroker auction.

The Redhawk is undoubtedly the nicer gun, but if you're not too attached to the double-action, then look into the Super Blackhawk. In my neck of the woods the Blackhawks are more prevalent on the shelves, with a wider selection of models and finishes (although the blues are still hard to track down). The Blackhawks also come in an optics ready Hunter model, if that tickles your fancy...

I really do want the double action... Dont care about optics, the carbine doesnt have any..

Thanks at least I know they make them now, and can continue my search...

All my other guns were hard to find, guess this one will be too... :(

Well I wish you luck on the hunt, and I hope you don't settle! I'm a big fan of the .44 carbine and sidearm combination, and those matching Rugers will look real nice!

I have a blued redhawk
I was just going through my gun collection and thinking about selling some. I have a blued Ruger Redhawk 7.5 barrel with leupold scope in excellent condition. Any idea what it's worth?
