OK, I have a Chiefs Special and had a gunsmith install the Wolf custom spring kit and clean up trigger a wee bit but I'm still not happy w it. My 686 is significantly better.

I was just wondering if the larger frame S&Ws have better actions than the J frames ?

Hey Don,
I own 2 LCRs...a .38 and a .357. Both have the same smooth trigger action, right out of the box. I would think that most every one out of the box is basically..."Butter-Smooth!"

I personally have ranked the Ruger LCR as the very best #1 trigger press, but I will agree with you that the S&W M60 runs a very close 2nd. I also own a M60 with a 3 inch barrel and do agree it has a sweet DA pull.
