Ever looked at or held a S&W 638? You don't pull on the trigger to pull the hammer back. There is enough protruding to make it quite accessible.
oh ok that dont look too bad i guess. I was picturing more trying to finger nail a piece of hammer that wasnt ment to be utilized in SA , that picture appears to clear the issue
So thats to prevent catching clotches for pocket carry? thought the .38 even snub might be a bit too big to pocket carry but then again ive never tried it
I have a S&W 642 CT air weight. It does not have an external hammer and is only fired double action. It's light and comfortable. It took me a good while to get a feel for the heavy trigger.
I carry a S&W 325 PD, it's a Scandium alloy revolver that is chamber for the .45 ACP that weighs about 21 oz.
If you carry this you have to use a round that crimps it's bullet into a crimp groove, to keep the bullets from moving forward in their cases during recoil.
You all are going to laugh but i carry a Taurus judge pd ultralight with pdx1 410 and .45 alternating in chamber. I live in nm and carry it open carry.
There are a number of options to go with. No one mentioned the staniless smith and wesson model 60. The charter arms bulldog in 44 special is a small light weight very popular conceal carry revolver.
