Default Arminius HW7

When my cousin called and asked me if I wanted to buy his fathers old 22 revolver, I really didn't want another 22 handgun. When he brought it over and I checked it out I was intrigued to say the least. I had never heard of the Company that made it and being an 8 shot...well I couldn't resist. The deal was made for $70.00. I gave it a quick cleaning and took it to the range.
The trigger broke at 4 1/2 pounds and the gun was surprisingly accurate. I have shot all kinds of ammo though it and not one hiccup so far. It now sits in my shop when I'm there with 8 Colibri rounds in it. Behold the new shop queen...

Arminius imported inexpensive revolvers some years back.

"Inexpensive" does not mean cheap nor poorly crafted. If the gun looks good and functions well, then go with that.

It it reliably goes bang, you entered into the "nobrainer" category, especially at $70. Nice score, Artie.

Link to a little info on your Herman Weihrauch revolver. Depending on condition, $70 is less than half the normal sale price.

I'm pretty sure this is the same company that makes the Windicator revolvers that EAA has imported for years.
The old Arminius brand doesn't get alot of respect, most pawn shops won't take one in on trade, but you have a very nice looking model. And being a .22 I bet it will be a nice plinker or small game gun.

After I cleaned it up and took it to the range, I was pleasantly surprised by its accuracy. In single action mode the trigger has a nice clean break at 4 1/2 pounds. In double action... well that's another story, you can bake a cake waiting for the hammer to come back and release!
It really is a nice shooter even though they don't get the respect they deserve.
I have shot several brands of ammo through it and not one hang up so far. It seems to like Colibri rounds the best.
