Any opinions on the Taurus Raging Judge?

The one that chambers 454, 410 Buck and 45 colt?

There is no shortage of Judge threads. IIRC, they seldom end well.
IMHO, it one MUST own one of that type of revolver, save up and get the S&W Governor. The step up in quality & customer service is worth it.
Stupid as it sounds, there is something about the name "Raging Judge" that hits me wrong in this age of judicial activism.

Don't waste your money, i had one of the regular judges for a little while and i've never been so unhappy with a firearm before, can't imagine the "raging" version being any better. Definitely save up and get the S&W version, you'll be glad you did.

I don't suppose there's another one that chambers the 454 too?

I've got regular Judge, ss, 6.5" barrel and I love it. The quality is great and the costomer service is great (I had a small issue with the 1911 once), they where fast, free, and sent me a couple extra parts. Shooting the judge is a blast and doubles as a solid home defense weapon.

I will be saving up for one after I save up for a s&w AR-15. I wanted to wait until the price range stabalized a little on the Ragin' Judge Magnum. I'm sure the s&w version of it is also a great gun with great service.
