I'm seriously considering a rimfire revolver right now and while I might be perfectly happy with a basic Heritage revolver I do like some of the features and aesthetics of the Taurus Tracker.

Unfortunately, I know Taurus has a somewhat spotty reputation. Anyone own one of these revolvers?

Taurus used to have spotty QC. Made lots of great firearms but too many baddies got out. They have sorted most of their issues out, and talking to prople who actually own them will show you that they have no more failure than any other major manufacturer (including Kimber and Glock)... I've got 3 Tauri and they work very well and have for a long time.
