Yes, the recoil from that gun was so light that it was far more enjoyable shooting that one, than my Colt king Cobra 4" with .357 Mag. I even used the Raging Bull to shoot IPSC matches. The grip is outstanding and for me it is the best revolvergrip I have ever tried. Especially the red stripe on the back which is somewhat softer than the rest of the grip helps a lot to defuse the recoil.
As for going with a bigger caliber .454/.460/.500 to, I never saw the need for it, and also my current location today prohibits those type of calibers....

But hey if you caught me at the gun range and invited me to try your .454 or whatever, sure... I'd love to...
