Default 44 Magnum Picture Thread
I recently had a thread on my new 3" S&W 629 Talo and safedman, Mark F, and canebrake posted pic of their 44 magnums.

So I thought a 44 Magnum Picture Thread would be a cool idea.
Any Brand...
Any Style (DA or SA)...
While shooting or Stills...


What can I say I like pictures of gun!


I only have three right now but I'll start:

Ruger Redhawk 7.5"

Nothing special nor exotic, my Taurus Raging Bull 444S8.. really a joy to shoot .44Mag with,.... Only thing I did not like was the double lock, which delayed fast reloads...

MB44, I bet the recoil from that beast feels like nothing. I have been thinking about the 454 raging bull. How do those grips tame recoil?

I love the 8 3/8" models. My Ruger is great, but Smith & Wesson know how to finish a gun, beautiful

Yes, the recoil from that gun was so light that it was far more enjoyable shooting that one, than my Colt king Cobra 4" with .357 Mag. I even used the Raging Bull to shoot IPSC matches. The grip is outstanding and for me it is the best revolvergrip I have ever tried. Especially the red stripe on the back which is somewhat softer than the rest of the grip helps a lot to defuse the recoil.

As for going with a bigger caliber .454/.460/.500 to, I never saw the need for it, and also my current location today prohibits those type of calibers....
But hey if you caught me at the gun range and invited me to try your .454 or whatever, sure... I'd love to...

Rick1967, I think that is a hardcast bullet in your pic.

How do hardcast bullets compare to SJSPs or HPs for accuracy at distance?
