i ve got a old 38 s&w 6 shot im wanting to know how old it is and how much its worth can any one help me also im wanting to buy a 25 beretta 950 b-cal 635 jet fire what is a good price for it thanks

you'd need to find out a model number. open the cylinder(like you're loading it). i think some of the real oldies had it stamped on the barrel)
stainless? blued? smith and wesson may be able to help with age, going by serial numbers.
the beretta is showing on gunbroker for 250 in nickel plate.

+1 on contacting S&W. Their records have not been in any fires.
