Default 38 s&w ctg identification help

Friend bought this gun from a meth addict needing some cash and got it for real cheap. Just kidding figured it would get people rilled up but he did get it from his grandpa who recenty passed away that also left me a bolt action 12 gauge. . Just tryinf to get some history about and what's its value. Its not for sale but it would be cool to know its worth atleast a 1000 or something like that.the serial number is 414546.

.38 Double Action third model. Value probably $100 - 200 because of condition.
