I love my colts but they don't get any hot loads.they only get target loads as the python isn't a strong revolver and "will" shoot loose over time.

that said these are built like a tank.gotta love the rugers.

There are lots of .357 Magnums out there. Go fondle some and see what you like.

Just do yourself a favor and buy a whole bunch of revolvers (stick to S&W, Ruger and maybe Colt) in various calibers. A few each of .357 and .44 mag, single and double action. . . then you can rotate shooting them and by the time you come back around to the first one it's like shooting it for the first time all over again! AND you'll have a new favorite one all the time! Its great!

It works for me. I ended up owning lots of great revolvers that way...

If you have a concealed carry handgun permit, you don't need to get a $5 permit to purchase a handgun.
