which .357 to pair it with?
So I have ALWAYS wanted a nice 357 lever rifle/revolver combo. Just always thought it would be neat to have...and now I've decided to finally save up for it.
I have been drooling over this for the past week or so
Marlin Model 1894C
but have not quite figured out what revolver to pair with it.
I looked at the ruger, but I have had no experience with one so i'm not really sold on it.
Ruger Blackhawk 357mag 6 1/2" $427.00 SHIPS FREE
any suggestions?

Do you want something to carry, or just make a good pair and range gun?

The Blackhawk is a much better pairing. Lever actions = single action revolvers. Always has been that way, always will (should) be.
I'm looking for a .44 mag LA to go with a Blackhawk .44 mag

No. . . I think ALL .357s are worth shooting. The one you prefer could be miles apart from the one I might.

Don't neglect the Colt Single Action Army.
