Default .357 colt python value?

4" nickel, above average condition but not quite mint?

Here's a Gunbroker listing for a BLUED Python, quite a bit more than $500-800. The nickel finish usually commands a little more.

Colt Python Blue Four Inch : Revolvers at GunBroker.com

But, like the man said, condition is everything. There's a very wide gap between "above average" and "not quite mint."

I was offered $1,200 for this one. Not nickel, and a little holster-worn but no nicks and better grips for a shooter. (mine is not for sale)

Nickel might be a little more.

Unless it's a turd parts gun or has been abused or worn out almost any Python in reasonable condition will bring over $1,000 nowadays.

Post a couple good photos for a better response if you can...
You also might want to introduce yourself in the intro section.

Really? Without pics?

At least a GAZILLION dollars!

Seriously, somewhere well north of $1K if it truly is in great shape.
