[QUOTE=M14sRock;275862]You mentioned an H&R 929. I got one from a friend a couple of years ago and it is awesome. CCI Velocitors at 50 yards offhand on cans of soda, and the cans don't stand a chance. I bought it to help out my buddy, but now it is one of my favorite shooters and sees a lot of range time.

They can usually be picked up cheap, and seem to be plentiful.

I bought my 929 new almost 30 years ago. It was my first .22 revolver and still one of my favorite shooters. It is surprisingly accurate for a gun that I paid less than $100 for.

Does anyone have anything knowledgeable to say about the Heritage Rough Rider? EDIT: Oh, I just watched a couple videos and found out it's single action... so never mind... the OP specified DA.

Default Big Mistake!!

I had a 9 shot H&R with the 9 inch barrel back in the early 70's. I sold it for $50 and still regret it till this day. I sold it to my cousin on the pretence that if he decided to sell it that I would be first in line to buy it back!! I can't locate another with the 9'' barrel there are some with a 6'' and they run upwards of $650.. Good luck in your search.
