Technically speaking, a revolver is a type of pistol. What you mean is that you do not want a semi-auto pistol, [unless you want a revolver-carbine, lol]

If you are interested in used , H&R made many models, and barrel lengths of their 22/22 mag convertible, as well as a couple 22 mag only revolvers.
No longer made but if you watch the online auctions, you can find some really nice ones out there, and they wont break the bank.
Well built, and good shooters.
Here's a pic of my convertibles, only one set of doubles in the pic.
As you can see, there are many choices out there.

Big Country,
Yes, if you are interested in the H&R's, they are all double action revolvers.
That is one of the reasons I prefer them!
I seldom shoot them in double action, but it is nice to have the option, which you don't have with the Ruger, or Heritage.
Don't know of any presently made convertibles that are double action.

I have an Arminus 22 mag 8-shot revolver that I got used for $110 about 2 years ago. Old gun made around 1967 but it shoots fine and its a fun plinker. I have other guns for home defense, but Id use it for that in a pinch.

Don't waste your valuable time and money on anything else.

Hello Bigcountry74
To Answer your question Yes. S&W Made their Model 48 .22 Magnum double action revolver with both cylinders. They also used to fit prior made model 48's in .22 W.M.R. Caliber with an auxillary .22 L.R. Cylinder, but sadly they do not offer it any more. They are not abundant but can be located. I found the one shown below a few years ago. it is a First Year model 48 that was made in December 1959 the very same Year that Winchester released the .22 Magnum Cartridge. I looked long and hard for this first year model 48 with both cylinders with it... Hammerdown
