Hi everyone, I am a new member to this forum, but I can tell I am in the right place.

I inherited a beautiful mint condition 1929 .38 Colt Detective Special with holster and some very interesting bullets as seen below...

While I am an avid gun fan, this is one of those pieces that I am clueless due to it's age what this piece is possibly worth. Even as mint as it is..it's something that I won't fire, I have a 9mm, a .40 and a .45 for which I do that with.

Can anyone give me an idea as to what this may be worth?

DETECTIVE SPECIAL PRE-WAR (FIRST ISSUE)
- .38 Spl. cal., 2 in. barrel, blue, wood grips, square butt standard through 1933, round butt standard thereafter, last patent date on barrel was Oct. 5, 1926. Mfg. 1927-46.
Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% 50% 40% 30% 20% 10%

Add 15% for nickel finish.
Add 20% for square butt.
