I don't have exact, but I am 6ft, and if not looking up, I was eye level to his shoulder. Big guy..big personality..big knowledge.
Was glad to meet everybody, and was very glad to meet him in an amicable setting!

I wish I could have made it but things came up and I couldn't .
But hey I am working on my range now. But maybe next time we can have it at my place and shoot for free.
And I could smoke some briskets to.

it's not just that he's tall, but he's a big guy. built like a defensive linebacker for a pro football team kind of big. in all fairness, Robo is a very nice person too with a sense of humor and a great personality. very enjoyable to talk to. he is what i want to think, represents LE.
He's 6'8" and I know what he weighs, too, but I'm not telling. If he wants to tell, fine, but you won't be hearing it from me. Robo once posted a picture of himself shooting a rifle here on FTF. Someone noticed the rifle looked smaller than usual in his hands and asked, "Are you a giant?" ROFL

When I worked nights at my last job and Robo was working nights, we PM'd each other quite a bit for a couple months. He's an interesting man.

i can relate to that! i feel that way about many members here on the forum as well. so many of them here that i would like to meet in person and spend time with.

honestly, i am feeling a bit a sadness today. i had such a good time yesterday spending time with some members of the forum that i wish we could have more time and more members there. yesterday was one of those days that will be a fond memory for me for a long time.

again, thanks to everyone who attended and took time out to make this an enjoyable time for all. a big thanks to TXhillbilly for planting the idea and getting the ball rolling. you guys are the greatest! FTF history was made yesterday! thank you to each and everone of you for making this such a great little event. i am blessed to be able to call thes people my new friends!

Sams is the best. It has been there for a LONG time. I first ate there when my father stopped in on a long trip with me. He told me that he use to go there when he was a little older than I was.

I've been stopping in at Sam's for many years since I long haul trucked for many years. Yesterday was the first time I've been there in about 6 years, and the food is still as good as I remembered.

Everyone wore Axxe out yesterday,he wimped out on my today but I went back to the range anyway. I shot some of my rifles, and talked to a couple that were there shooting. The guy had just bought his girlfriend her first hunting rifle, and he was sighting it in,and letting her get used to shooting it.
I look forward to the next get together with everyone,it's always fun meeting other members and shooting guns together.
