Pistol shoot, rifle shoot, or both (my personal preference)? What type of private range is it?

July might be a little busy for me. My work takes me all over the US, but I'd block off a weekend to do this.

August or September might be better. Maybe the heat will relent a little if we wait until September. Then again, maybe not.
I like sept better to maybe the heat wont be as bad

For some reason I missed this thread. I will look at my schedule and let y'all know. Looking forward to seeing our very own Hillbilly again.

We need a near by hotel to have a place to take the meet and greet into the evening and perhaps the next day. Is there anything in Buffalo? It has been years since I was in that area. Madisonville? Huntsville?

Robo, there are about 3-4 in Buffalo right around the interstate. there are about 8-9 in Palestine which is about 35 miles away and there are about 5-6 in Fairfield up the interstate about 20 miles.

it's about 170 or so miles for me, so if I'm free, I'll defiantly try to make it. July is probably best for me, August should be ok, but I'm not sure about September yet.

Like I said, it has been a while. When I was at SHSU (79-84) Buffalo was a bump in the road

I'll probably stay in Fairfield,Tx. There are several Hotels there within walking distance of Sam's Restaurant.
They have very good food-Home Cooking at it's best!

Robo,it will be good to see you again, also!
It's been too long since we had a get together, too bad all the old members that were at the 1st one aren't around anymore.
I'm going to call Lon and let him know about it,but I don't know if he will come.
