Default Greetings from North Central Texas

Hello all ... hubby and I are up here in Hurst, TX, right between Dallas and Fort Worth. We are both senior citizens, and love to go to target practice. Hubby is a CHL, and I'm thinking about it!!

I'm a retired 1st Sgt US Army and live in Watauga. Have my own shooting range up north of Rhome on my daughters place. Try to burn up a couple of hundred rounds a week weather permitting. As always the old firstsoldier.

Hello from Hood County... just southwest of North Central Texas... sorta. Don't go there alot, stay here alot but I do have a brother in Johnson County and one in Dallas County. Retired from an Electric Utility in '04. Been handloading and shooting off and on since I got back from Vietnam. An expert at nothing in shooting sports, or anything else for that matter.
We handload and go to the range every chance we can get together. I'm starting to get interested in a Ruger mini as my next rifle. You got some feedback? Please do it over there.

Glad to see so many fellow vets. I'm an Air Force Senior Master Sergeant in the Reserves and I am assigned to the 433rd Airlift Wing at Lackland. I plan to get into handloading-I have all the equipment; just need to get the nerve to build some bullets. Firstsoldier, I envy you having your own range.
