Default Going to Texas

Hello Texas from Minnesota, going to be down the first week in April, about 50 miles south of El Paso, looking at some land, whats it like around that part of the country? hunting? fishing? how deep u have to bore a well?

50 miles south of El Paso? You'll be in Mexico!
There ain't much out there,it's the desert.Lot's of sand,rocks,and cactus.Oh yeah,and illegal's tracking across the place.

Mule deer and varmint hunting is pretty good out there.White tail deer and Desert Bighorn sheep in those parts also.

I would not go 50 miles south of El Paso unless you were packing some heavy heat with plenty of ammo. What county is the land in? I would stay inland away from the borders. There is too much crap going on right on the border, but it is safer a few miles in.

Oh, and welcome to Texas, depending on where you go, the land can be cheap, and the hunting can be good.

A little more info, Ill be going down around Sierra Blanca in April, approx 10-30 miles east of sierra Blanca, about 30 miles from border.

Well our trip to Texas got derailed, gas prices and all, will see how summer goes, maybe will shoot for the fall before hunting starts,
