Going to Texas

Hello Texas from Minnesota, going to be down the first week in April, about 50 miles south of El Paso, looking at some land, whats it like around that part of the country? hunting? fishing? how deep u have to bore a well?

50 miles south of El Paso? You'll be in Mexico!
There ain't much out there,it's the desert.Lot's of sand,rocks,and cactus.Oh yeah,and illegal's tracking across the place.

Mule deer and varmint hunting is pretty good out there.White tail deer and Desert Bighorn sheep in those parts also.

I would not go 50 miles south of El Paso unless you were packing some heavy heat with plenty of ammo. What county is the land in? I would stay inland away from the borders. There is too much crap going on right on the border, but it is safer a few miles in.

Oh, and welcome to Texas, depending on where you go, the land can be cheap, and the hunting can be good.
