Corpus Christi Area

Hey fellow south Texans I just moved to Corpus Christi in November from Nevada and Im looking for a GOOD place to go shooting. I have a hard time paying to go to a range simply because after living in Nevada where I just went out to the desert to shoot for free almost on a daily basis for 2 years it just about killed me when I went to sharp shooters and paid $80 for my self my fiance and my buddy go shooting for I think 2 and a half hours. I have been thinking about joining up at the Corpus rifle pistol club or going to starry but like I said it kills me to pay a fee to go. Any free ranges around that you gents know about?

The fee at the Corpus Christi pistol & rifle club is very reasonable and allows you to bring family or friend without cost.

In San Antonio there's a few ranges where it's 8 bucks per person. They are nice ranges

There are member ranges in south Texas but there are a couple of indoor ranges for a fee, no membership required.
