Default Constitutional Gun Carry in Tn

Tn Firearms Association site reports that the proposed Constitutional Carry Law, won't likely be signed by Governor Haslam.
He killed it last time, over "Budgetary Concerns" after talking with the State Safety Director, and thee State Education Commissioner.
The reasons or suspicions stated over the last several months, was he liked the 11,000,000.00 Permits were bringing in.
There is another Bill that would make it illegal for Carry Permit Holders to carry firearms in to county or municipal parks, buildings etc for events, if you had to buy a ticket for the event.
What about Gun Shows?
Nashville's Mayor last year tried to kill the Gun Shows at the Fairgrounds, which was illegal.
There are a few more pieces of Legislation on the state site for the 2015-2016 Legislature. have to scroll though last years to gt to the current year.
There are a lot of anti gun Bills that are dead or hopefully so listed at the beginning of each year. Looks like Bloomberg has friends in Nashville, besides Haslam.
he cut Totally Disabled Vets Property Tax Relief and Senior Citizens too, and put a Means Test on new Disabled Veterans, which means most won't be able to qualify for Property Tax Relief. Not a friend of Veterans at all.
He did give his Feed Ex aviation fuel tax cut, of about 30,000.000.00 a year, phased in over four years, starting when he leaves office this year.
Disabled Vets and Carry Permit Holders get to offset it. Disgraceful.
Next Action or vote on Constitutional Carry and others scheduled Feb 24

I like your thoughts and agree with a Constitutional Carry which to me means you could CCW in all 50 states. So law abiding citizens who legally could posses a weapon could in all 50 states without the fear of arrest in this state and not in that state!
However, as much as it pains me to say it. That is an impossibility from the start! The reason is with all the anti-gun liberal socialist progressive Democrats in the USA in government positions as they say in Tennessee just Ain't going to happen even in this day and age. We are going to have enough trouble hanging on to a lot of our guns and the Second Amendment as written if Hillary Clinton gets elected. And especially if she gets to appoint up to three Supreme Court Justices which she possibly can if elected. People need to think seriously about that! That will put every decision about any thing to do with the Second Amendment and other Constitutional Rights in their favor without doubt. Some things protecting our Second Amendment in the recent past was a 5 to 4 vote too close in our favor. You put even 1 more liberal socialist progressive Justice on the Court and we are in deep trouble. Bottom line this is one of the most important elections we will see in our lifetime. As far as the mayor of Nashville she should have never been elected either. If good people will get ever up off their Arrsses like in this election things like that would not happen. But just setting around and Bitching does no good! So bottom line to address your comment there will never be a Constitutional Carry in theses days. We will be lucky to have a Constitution that is honored if Clinton is elected. This is not to represent a Republican, Independent, or "Traditional" Democrat political view. This is a Fact! These people are not in reality even Democrats they are Socialist Progressives using the term Democrat. They are in no way the true Democrats of our grandfather's Democratic party. Stating it bluntly more leaning to Communism if that makes sense. It never ceases to amaze me how gullible the American public is!

We have Constitutional Carry in Kansas. No permit required for open or concealed carry. The law works quite well. And there has been no mass increase in shootings or hysteria that the left wing Liberals try so desperately to instill in our fellow Americans. In fact...it feels safer when you're out and about.

Bloomberg spent a lot of money this year as in the past four stopping the Passage of Constitutional Carry.
You know it is bad when Representatives and Senators before they can get their feet wet or literally into their chair Bloomberg's people are there with "contributions."
I'll find out just who killed it and splatter their name across the state and all connections with Bloomberg, money etc.
Any one here in Nashville regularly I hope has the time to visit our Legislators.
Post any dirt here under a pseudonym. and a new account not under your name.
just out of curiosity what evidence do you have that Bloomberg threw money at the representatives and senators?

not discounting that Bloomberg is very anti-gun, and has record of contributing money to many anti-gun activist groups.

and how would you go about finding out just exactly wa involved?

and another point to consider, unless you are willing to use your real name to post opposition, and it's found out that you are using a fake name, it's going to more harm than good. might want to give that some thought first.

Strongly recommend against this course of action. If you want to post your opinions or links to references, do so under your account. Do not duplicate accounts.

ain't no one calling you a liar. but without a credible source or links so that others may see for themselves, it's nothing more than an opinion.

then post the links to the stories. it's really very simple. copy and paste from the browser. inserts the story or the link into your post.

you are allowed to have an opinion, but without supporting facts to substantiate your opinions, then that's all they are, opinions. until something is proven, it's an opinion.

I'm not sure what is going on in Nashville, at this point.
.
However, from NRA, vote on HB40 among others is scheduled to be heard in House Civil Justice Committee tomorrow 03/29/2017.
Since Civil Justice Chair was on Criminal Justice and I think his vote necessary to get out of that Committee....
Maybe the winds have changed in our favor.
