My problem with this, is that LEOs don't know many laws,

and for them, somehow the very icons of justice in society,

IF THEY DON'T KNOW THE LAW, it's just A-OKAY???

Double standards, IMHO, are a BIG part of what's destroying society

today.
Wolf, you know me better than that! IMO, LEO's are not in any way excused from knowing the law either. in fact, i believe they are suppose to set an example and to lead from that example.

so i agree with you, that no it's not allright and i don't believe in double standards, but that LEO's should be held to a higher standard than civilians.

Well, it's certainly noble you feel this way, but we are

seeing repeated examples of LE abusing FOF, arresting

people without proper cause, breaking into people's homes

without warrants, snooping people's internet, and knocking

on their door, etc.

You would also expect LE to be better shots than civilians, too,

but this has also been statistically disproven.

In many instances, like Chicage, and NYC, the law, and

LE, have proven to be the violent offender's best friend.

i am realistic in know it happens, and quite a bit by all accounts of things seen on TV and heard on the radio. and in no way does that make their action right or excusable by any means.

and no they should not be allowed to use the excuse, "ignorance" as a way of gettin away with it either.

breaking the law is wrong regardless of who does it, a BG or a man with a badge. having a badge doesn't give a person authority beyond the law ever.

1. Our forefathers never in anyway would have supported Government being involved with our guns.
2. Yes, some people that shouldn't have guns will get them. But this is always true, regardless of the country, regardless of the law, regardless of liberal emotions.
3. If there were fewer laws to trip up LAC, then maybe there would be less problems. Castle Doctrine, Stand-your-ground or whatever, should be implied rights.
4. Sorry if I step on an instructor's foot, but it seems some have tried to endow themselves with some liberal bureaucracy, and become part of the restrictions.
5. Damm, I feel sorry for the rabbit who through know fault of his own has been drug into this mess.

Yes, I'm kind of with you on that. I like the classes and soaking up information, but someone that was in the military, law enforcement, or simply grew up with guns more than I could justifiably want to skip all the formal training I take. About the only restrictions I would support are for convicted violent criminals, and the mentally ill. And I mean violent criminals. Not all criminals.
