If you want to get all internet testy about it, then yes the 'AR' is correctly used for an Armalite branded product.

Most of the folks here on FTF pretty much let that sly and it comes up less frequently than the famous 'clips/mags' argument.

For the most part gun folks will assume if you say you were shooting your AR that you were shooting an AR-15 or AR-10 stylized weapon.

Gun folks routinely shiver at the sound of "Assault' rifle as assault is an action and a rifle is a thing/noun which can not create action on it's own. Thus a person could only be commiting 'assault' by use of something, not necessarily a rifle. Is there an assault rock? An assault fist or foot? Do police use an assault baton or assault mace?

The media is too stupid, or too ignorant, to make that leap of intelligent thought.

I'm gonna get my gear and all my guns and sit down on my nice big comfortable chair, smoke me a nice big ole cigar with my favorite drink and start blowing away any zombies that come threw my doors. LoL

Yeah, if you actually believe in zombies. These jamokes taking bath salts and eating faces and dogs and stuff would be easily dispatched with a couple of well placed shots to the chest and a coup de grace to the old bean bucket. I prefer a Hornady Critical Defense FTX .45ACP 185 gr hollow points. Pop goes the weasel!!! No worries after.

Yeah there saying it was weed though not bath salts, LOL. But yeah I like the critical defense also but I prefer and carry either Speer Gold Dot 180g .40s&w or the Federal HST 180g .40s&w, seeing how I don't have a .45ACP yet, but I will be getting one though for sure! I also like the PDX-1. I've been doing some tests with them and they've really been impressing me!

The last time I checked, a regular drug test wouldn't have shown bath salts. I think to test for it, they would have to look for the exact chemical compound in a full tox screen post mortem.

I do NOT believe that someone got stoned on some pot and started eating faces. In fact, I've rarely even seen a stoned person who WASN'T sitting on a couch munching on chips. They sure as hell ain't about to chase someone down the shoulder of a freeway and chew on their face.

I prefer the HP that have the fluid filled balls in the HP. I bought some I thought were filled with fluid, turns out they were filled with tiny buckshot. Ballistics sound impressive. They came in a box of six for $10 or something. Haven't fired one yet.
