Yeah I agree, no offense to the guy that started the thread but the zombie stuff looks really bad for gun collectors and active shooters. The marketing tool is a good idea just to grab someone's eye but I won't even look at that stuff in the store, it just screams gun nut.

You sure need to get something together
Bitter? You "youngsters" you personally- get trashed for reasons - arrogance - ignorance - inexperience - and a basic lack of respect for your elders & BETTERS
Grow up sum youngin & shut up & show your daddies guns

Good for you, Keginth28. That give me hope, some of you young guys are gonna make it. But then I see my granddaughters' boyfriends - so called grown men of 21+ who can't change a flat tire or jump start a car. These guys couldn't survive a cable TV outage! And I'm not kidding, one granddaughter recently had a flat and her useless, uneducated, unemployed boyfriend couldn't help so guess who drove over and saved her world. Again.
Back on topic, as far as holding off zombies, I've got two ARs, one AK, three Glock 40s, three 1911s, a few 9mms, a Remington 870, lots of magazines and 20K rounds. And food and water. We'll hole up in the compound and pick 'em off as long the family and I hold out.

The biggest issue with assembling an AR isn't so much getting the parts together right - it's getting the right parts together.
You'll remember the quality of a gun long after you forget how much you paid for it.
