at $300, that must be a .22? apparently there are larger calibers now for the henry mare's leg, but they cost closer to $800. customs push $1000+.
i think the henry's look much more polished than the ranch hands, but i never handled them, only looked at them.
got my ranch hand in .38/.357 for $420. still overpriced imo, but MUCH less expensive than any other i came across (henrys, customs). this was about the most i could stand to spend on a fun and cool, but somewhat useless gun.
but as useless as it is (well, lets face it, many firearms are just for fun), the mare's leg is a lot of fun to own and shoot. i really suggest the .38/.357, as it is very fun to shoot and still has good punch. the ranch hand is more accurate than i expected, although i had to correct the sights to get it there.
again, in MY zombie killing world....you DO get points for style.
