Why buy a ruger that has to many thirty round clips that don't work when you could buy something like the colt or m&p or h&k all have 22's versioned after the m4? Yes you may pay a little more money but look at what you get... 25 round dependable clip... Full length rail... Quad rails collapsable stock easy to clean internals... Pre-threaded barrel for any muzzle device... I mean seriously? Not to mention accuracy out to 250 yards or more... All in a tactical little bundle...

You are right, many of the aftermarket clips for the 10/22 are junk, the cheap one I tried out is garbage, however ruger has now made one, I haven't tried it and don't know if it works or not, anyway my answer to your question would be I bought a ruger for dependability after having a Viper that was junk, and I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a 22. Also I would have to question accuracy out to 250 yards with any 22LR and the amount of damage it would be capable of doing if you could hit something at that range.

I dont need all that tacticool crap on my .22, i have an M4 thats set up for all of that. The 25rd mag that i have was given to me new, and it has worked very well so far. The .22 would be the perfect storm to dispatch a cluster of morons....i mean zombies, and do it quickly.
