rickster;1295873]Lol. Of course I'm not planning on carrying the gun cabinet on my back. It's on wheels, therefore, if the need for an evacuation should arise I'd roll it on to my Dodge Ram Diesel which gives me about 550 miles per tank full and run. Otherwise, since I live in the country I'm prepared to hold up the fort. Lol.
ok, good...cause you would looked just plain silly toting that thing on your back ....remember, one of the most important parts of surviving the zombie appocolypse is, of course, looking cool when you smoke a few zombies.

Here's my opinion
handgun Remington r1 enhanced threaded so I can have suppressor on it

For the rifle i'll go with my mosin nagant
I can take shots out to 200 yards with iron sites and it has a bayonet for up close and personal

Edged weapon. Cold steel Kukri machete I had one for quite a while it was very durable and I could throw it out about 15 yards and have it sticking in a tree

And the vehicle as it's commonly known the deuce and a half for those who don't know it's a six wheeled military vehicle that can run on diesel biodiesel jet fuel and pretty much whatever you put in

7.62x39 is cheap and readily available here. You never have to clean the AK, plus it can survive any type of environment. So..
Ak 47
Ak pistol- I would have to cut off furniture though. This gun is illegal over here.
Glaive
MRAP

there are a few Z-DAY scenarios to consider: slow plodding zombies, rabid humans, fast running zombies, invincible zombies.....

i hope best case scenario: SLOW DUMB ZOMBIES.

PLAN: sit on roof on folding lawn chair. be well stocked with the following: ruger 10/22, 2-3 bricks of 22, at least a 12 pack of beer and an ice bucket, cheese puffs and/or pretzels. repeat as many days as necessary to survive this "apocalypse."
