What I'm not getting is that the very same folks who

won't prepare for a natural disaster, political upheaval,

or financial meltdown, all of which have happened repeatedly

in the past; You tell these folks "Zombie Apocalypse"-never happened

before, highly unlikely, and the least threat of all the disaster scenarios,

and they are all going apenuts to prepare for it. Most of these folks don't

even keep a box of band-aids in the medicine cabinet for when their child cuts

their finger,-

BUT, OH! THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE! WE HAVE TO BE READY FOR THAT...

And that someone being disappointed that every night they go to sleep was a day that the epidemic did not happen. Crazy to think about. I think that if it happens it'll be forced
I'll be prepared though!! Muahahaha!!!!!

Not true, the worst thing that could happen ideally would be a "zombie apocalypse" you're right. The least likely. But if you prepaid for the worst, you're ready for anything right? Well close to it anyway. Bug out bags are full of your band aids along with a quarter million another things. You're right, most people don't prepare for the most likely natural disasters. But the idea of a zombie outbreak is getting those people to prepare for those likely ones when they have been prepared for anything.

Don't know how true this is. The huffington post, at huffingtonpost.com. its apparently the internet newspaper but according to this info site. The us military and police r going to have mandatory zombie apocalypse training. Very interesting to me. Ok if police were going to be training I would have my thoughts of BS but why would the military train for such a catastrophe. Interesting. What say all u.

If that is true! I can just about say its not about a zombie apocalypse, it's gonna be there way of training billions of civilians in America without over flowing our military facilities for WW3, a New World Order! A one world government. Just my 2 cents worth. Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum, if you seek peace, prepare for War! Semper Fi

Yeah, me too...

It certainly displays one's intellect. And, the manufacturer's are taking full advantage of it.

What's next, you ask??? Do you "really" want to go there?

Man. So much admosity over what is supposed to be a light hearted topic.

Of course the rational mind thinks that preparing for zombies is ridiculous. But "zombie" doesn't necessarily have to mean undead, flesh eating movie creatures.

Around FTF, for years, we have used the term zombies to describe the bad guys. Same with Goblins. Not so much with Trolls, they are pretty specific.

And the argument could be made that many in the current Administration could be seen at a zombie. What's that idiot's name? The one who is the press secretary and is clearly pre-programmed like a taped message recorder before he goes out there? Just sayin...

If it gets people buying some extra provisions, or gear, and gets them better prepared for one of the countless real events that could happen, the f*ck do you care what they call it?

I mean really? Are you losing sleep because a guy with a zombie festish wants to buy a shotgun? Who cares? He's buying a shotgun. One more for our team.

Which gives me an idea......

I say people act stupidly, independently, from time to time,

as a matter of course.

Government, OTOH, goes out of it's way to ensure totally moronic

activities, on behalf of us all...
