Oh come on!! . You think it would be GLOCK, GLOCK, GLOCK and then 1911,1911,1911!!! . That would never ever happen on a gun forum. I like my Rugers and my GLOCK. I do want a Ruger GP100 and a 10mm on a 1911 platform.

Sure glock is in the top ten, just not for me I don't shoot them to well and I like a heavier gun, and glocks are most people's first gun I think there cheap and a good safe pick, I see in here people are moved on.

in no order:
beretta m9/92fs
glock 19
sig p226
m&p line (especially shield)
colt 1911
sig p238 (great pocket pistol)
wilson combat
glock 26
colt python
sig sp2022
the sp2022 is sig's best secret. if you havent seen reviews or fired one, i highy recommend doing so. it's also a bargain price (compared to other sigs) bc of the polymer frame.

I'll bite. I have a few of the guns on my list already and my list tends to change from time to time...
Also pay no attention to numerical order, I don't have a particular preference over others.
1. 1911 (I have a WWII era Ithaca but would love to get a more contemporary one from a reputable maker of course: Wilson Combat, Les Baer, etc.)
2. Sig P220
3. S&W Model 29
4. Glock (I have several)
5. FN FNP-45 Tactical
6. S&W M&P (I have a few)
7. Springfield XD9 subcompact (would love to own one again)
8. Sig P226
9. Kahr PM9/PM40
10. Beretta 92
