There is alot to consider when carrying a 380 because there are alot of great options that are the same size and capacity as a 380 only in 9mm and that 124gr +p is a mean round... consider keltec pf9, khar cm9 or ruger lc9 all great carry guns... Personally I'll stick with Glock

roscoguy, yes, it's adhesive. Even after returning from the range, that thing is glued on pretty tight. There is no give or movement whatsoever. I'm very impressed.

neilshupak55, can you post a pic of your piece with the finger grip ext. on it? Want to see what that would look like.... Thanks all.

I haven't read all the responses on this thread. So, I'm gonna throw this out there. From what I was told when a buddy was looking at the same kahr, their not range worthy at all, they'll break down quite quickly. Its more of a " get off of me gun." Good luck though.

I bought one for my wife. What a terrible handgun. It has been returned to Kahr. They did nothing except polish the ramp. I would never carry one of these things. They are not the handgun to bet your life on.

That pretty well describes every 380 out there.

Really, I'm not to familiar with .380's in general. Thanks for the advice.

That they are not "range worthy" is what I was referring to. They all don't break down, but they are not fun to shoot.

a carry gun does not have to be,or usually is,fun to shoot.Having said that ,it should fire every time to protect you in a pinch..For the money, the p-380 has disappointed me more than any gun I have ever owned.I have had lots of em..A 380 is not my first choice for carry and I got it for it's size..Prob going to a glock 26 or 27..I know they fire every time out of the box...I just hate to throw the kahr to the curb.it may make it to my nightstand to keep my barretta company...so many choices.....anyway ...people do your best out there..peace Neil

Yep. Finally got an IP-5 driver, so I don't really have an excuse. I'll change it before going to the range tomorrow.

As to .380s being generally unpleasant to shoot: do you find this to be true with your P380? I had heard that .380 mouse guns tend to be snappy, but I don't have a problem with the Kahr. Just wondering who may have had bad experiences with what...
