Honestly I really don't see the minor differences between the two justifying the $200+ price increase for the PM9 especially considering it will ride in my pocket.
Yeah in the pm9 you get polygonal rifling and overall nicer fit and finish( milled parts on the p versus injected on the c) is just one difference. Also the CM9 comes with only 1 mag. Both of those guns are good( I've shot probably 200 rounds out of a Pm9 and 150 out of a CM9).

I guess I really just want the basics of firearms history; Colt SAA, Broomie, P-08, 1911, Hi-Power, S&W M29, a few others. You know, the high points.

I think I need a 224 Equinox. Overpriced? Yup. Less practical than the 938? Yup. Still convinced I need one? Hell yeah.

Anyone know if an actual release date has been announced? A few online sites list them, but all show "show out of stock". Since not a single one has appeared on gunbroker.com, and I can't find a review, I'm assuming the listings are just a placeholder for when they do come out.

I don't know when they will come out. Shooting illustrated featured the 224 in .40. I was interested until I read the specs. 25 ounces doesn't do it for me, but if I had enough money I would love one! I think they are pretty badass.

I talked to one of the larger gun shops here in Az and they told me that they are already back-ordered for 6 months. Which is good sort of, that gives me time to save up the money I need for one and for Sig to work out any bugs that might pop up. Not that Sig handguns have had many problems.

I'm not in a huge hurry to buy yet. However, that will probably quickly change once I actually get to handle one. Funny how that happens...
